I meet with clients to determine their requirements and discuss the proposalst. A framework for the project is then set out, with charges for each stage. I then produce design schemes which take account of the needs of the business, cost and timescale limitations, specific functional needs practical requirements. When the scheme is approved I handle negotiations with the local authority in respect of statutory approvals and obtain prices for the works by competitve tender. I then appoint contractors and manage the installation and fitting out work to completion.
