Peppercorns Barrow

06/12/2011

An attractive and busy coffee shop and delicatessen in Anstey is the result of another successful collaboration between J.M.Design and Peppercorns Catering.  Last year the Glenfield based catering company engaged J.M.Design to assist with the design and fit-out of their first coffee shop in Barrow upon Soar. Earlier this year a second site was secured and work began on the creation of the larger, combined coffee shop and delicatessen in Anstey.

A continually evolving, creative framework has always been the core principle for J.M.Design projects.  Working closely with the business owners, developing each aspect of the design scheme in conjunction with selected contractors, has ensured that the final result achieves client satisfaction.  Overall expectations, including space management, aesthetics, practical and functional requirements and budget restraints have all been fully addressed. The result is an outlet which properly serves the varied needs of the business.

Cost needed to be carefully controlled – without compromising appearance and environment in the customer areas.  Careful selection of materials, and

cost-effective solutions for lighting and joinery work contributed to the financial success of the project – keeping costs within budget.

A national magazine – Essentially Catering – invited J.M.Design to contribute to their article on design for catering outlets as a result of the success of the Peppercorns project.
